FREE Screening of Hitchcock Films!

Who doesn't love a good film? Especially if it's free! This is a great opportunity for you and your hunny bunny to sit down, cuddle up, sip on your pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks and watch a great movie! At the Angelika, October is referred to as Hitchcock-tober since the Dallas theater plays iconic Hitchcock films outside on their patio every Thursday at 8pm for free! The Angelika in Plano charges $6 for the films and the movie is played inside on the big screen!
The lineup for both theaters is the same but please note that films at Plano start at 7pm and the films at the Dallas location start at 8pm.

                                              October 6th: The Birds

October 13th: The Man Who Knew Too Much

                                           October 20th: Rear Window

                                                October 27th: Psycho

For the Dallas location, make sure to get there a little early to ensure yourself a seat! Another great idea is to bring your own folding chairs and a blanket!

Hope to see everyone there!

Great idea for reception centerpieces!

Centerpieces can be an expensive item, especially if you want floral centerpieces. But you don't have to spend a ton of money to get beautiful centerpieces! You can get the best of both worlds! Below are two photographs of beautiful centerpieces and the only items needed are wine glasses, flowers and candles! You can choose white candles to keep it classy or you can use colored candles to contribute to a fun atmosphere. One great advantage to using this idea as a centerpiece is all the wine glasses you'll have after the wedding... drink up!

Mazel Tov, Adam!

On August 6th, Adam celebrated his Bar Mitzvah! The ceremony took place at Temple Emanuel. Obviously a Texas fan, Adam wore a Texas Longhorn Tallit. Following the ceremony was dinner and the party in Tobian Auditorium. The party had a sports theme complete with tickets as the place cards, centerpieces that were pictures of Adam playing various sports and flags representing different sports teams! (Also included was Adam's chocolate basketball cake!) The DJ played music all through the night (with Adam getting some DJ lessons!) and there was a professional dancer teaching everyone some awesome moves! Kids dueled in hula hoop and played the dice game for prizes! Everyone had a great time celebrating Adam on his big day!

Kirby's Senior Portraits

Back in May, Kirby was still a senior in high school and needed some sorority pictures taken for rush. We went to Cole Park in Uptown Dallas to take pictures and got some great shots!

Kirby is now in college and just became a Tri Delt! Congratulations Kirby!

Aaron's Senior Portraits

Back in April, I took Aaron's senior portraits. Aaron wanted cool backgrounds for his photos so we met in downtown Dallas near the West End Marketplace and walked around taking pictures and finally ended up at The Dallas Aquarium. We had a great time and I took many great shots of Aaron!

Congratulations Aaron and I hope you have a great first year of college at San Diego State University!

Lauren ♥ James 03.13.2011

Lauren and James are such a sweet couple! Their wedding day was filled with so much joy and the couple's closest family and friends were in attendance. The wedding took place at Castle Hills Country Club in Lewisville, Texas. The ceremony was outside on a balcony on a beautiful sunny day. After the ceremony, the reception took place inside. Lauren and James had a fairytale theme with a castle cake, a carriage signing pen and champagne flutes to match! The couple's exit consisted of family and friends wishing them farewell with sparklers!

Congratulations to Lauren and James on their marriage!

Maddie ♥ Austin 01.08.11

Maddie and Austin are a fun loving Texas couple! They met at Texas A&M University while they were in college and now call Austin home with their black lab Moose.

Maddie and Austin used this photograph for their
Save the Date!
I took their engagement portraits and also shot their wedding, which took place on January, 8th 2011 at the beautiful and historical Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. The bridesmaids were all childhood friends of the bride and all the groomsmen were friends of the groom from Texas A&M (Check out the ring photograph below!) The couple picked out a beautiful Ketubah that will be a part of their home together. The ambiance created by the hundreds of white flowers, candles and votives made for an elegant and classy ceremony. Their Huppah was just gorgeous! Dinner was served on long, beautiful tables decorated with tan linen tablecloths that included many vases filled with white flowers, candles and table numbers written in gold pen on mirrors. The reception followed dinner and entertainment was provided by the 80s cover band The Spazmatics! It was a fun and lively party complete with all the 80s classics!

Congratulations to Maddie and Austin on their marriage!
